PFC’s TFIC-H is a complete 4-day pistol instructor program designed to impart the fundamentals of teaching handgun skills and\u00a0managing pistol training for armed professionals. TFIC-H standards exceed every state, military, federal or commercial firearms\u00a0certification process currently in existence. Students must successfully pass 6 examinations scoring no lower than 100% on 1 and no\u00a0lower than 90% on the remaining 5. Training includes safety, instructor development, risk analysis, remediation, development of live fire\u00a0evolutions, as well as progressive operation of the semi-automatic handgun weapon system. Evaluations consist of a comprehensive\u00a0written exam, dry fire Limited Scope Performance Test (LSPT), Live Fire Skills Test (LFST), classroom presentation, student-led live fire\u00a0evolution, and construction of a hazard-mitigating Risk Analysis Tool. Graduates will be able to safely instruct students in combative\u00a0handgun fundamentals as well as develop and run essential live fire evolutions or qualification courses.<\/p>\n

Due to the proprietary\u00a0information taught in this program, TFIC-H applicants are screened on a case-by-case basis. Graduates of this instructor program will be\u00a0provided with a detailed manual and training curriculum authorized for use within their own organization, department or unit.<\/p>\n

Pre-requisite:\u00a0<\/strong>TFIC-H is not a “how to shoot” course, and as such, students who lack shooting skills upon arrival stand a very low chance of\u00a0successfully completing the Live Fire Skills Test, which will only be administered a limited number of times. Registered applicants may\u00a0request a copy of this skills test for practice prior to the course.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
