Course Overview

Protective Operations Supervisor Training is an intensive 1-day course designed for security managers, team leaders, and anyone responsible for personnel assigned to protective services.  This fully-loaded professional supervisor’s course is unlike any training currently available in the industry.  POST aims to expand leadership knowledge, skills, and abilities for the real-world and help develop supervisory personnel for increased responsibilities.  Course subject matter includes leadership principles, maximizing your people, organizing operations, best practices for scheduling, day-to-day management & quality control, 360-degree communications, documentation and reporting, performance evaluations, progressive discipline, common battles & mitigation strategies, managing special events, crisis management, and scenario-based exercises. Few rise to excellence in the field of protective services and even fewer are destined for management.  This course will prepare today’s leaders for tomorrow’s challenges.

Prerequisite: Must be employed by an approved organization and current or prospective team leader, manager, or supervisor of security personnel.
